tech-ed-2010-us-153sm How to “Manage IT in Midsized Organizations” was my start point today. You can say we don’t are a midsized organization. Yes, you can have right, but if you breakdown to a small network or system we are a “midsized organization” and we can use the software Microsoft have for this type of organization to save some money. Tools for asset and licensing tracking for a small network for instance.

After session “Virtualzing Microsoft Forefront Threat Management Gateway (TMG)” I get the answer what we must do now, and what I shall do for a Virtual Edge Performance.

The session “Activating Windows: What You Need to Know When Deploying Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 in the Enterprise” give me many answer about KMS and  MAK activation, and how we can use this in a network without internet connection. What we can do in a test network for save money.  So I have some work to do when I come home. I have many answer now.  We are running a licensing project home, and without this information I get today we had done some horrifying mistake.

So the cost for my trip to New Orleans has already been saved in lower cost for my company, and I have also been more up to date.

I look forward to share my information from Tech·Ed 2010 with my colleagues all the new knowledge/information I get here.
